With four girls between 4 and 9 I told Holly (4) that I wanted to put her in the cart.
Holly: Why?
Harvey: Hmmm... Its better for overall sanity.
Holly (after thinking for several seconds,) : But I don't have overalls on!!
Holly: Why?
Harvey: Hmmm... Its better for overall sanity.

Funny kids! So did her logic convince you that she didn't need to ride in the cart?
I'd put her in the cart before she answered. She considered my reason for several seconds before deciding there was no way it made any sense.
