Speaking in Sacrament Meeting today

My talk was on teaching, but there was one scripture I'd included in my notes that kind of fits this election season:

2 Timothy 2:23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

Despite including it in my notes I failed to include it in my talk, but the larger point that we should focus our teaching on the most important things I did include, using as an example Christ's focus on teaching the gospel over resolving the political and social problems of his day.
